Asbestos is composed of fibre bundle, and the fibre bundle consists of fibre which is thin and long and can be separated with each other. The asbestos tape is made of high quality asbestos yarn. It has advantages of fire resistance, electric insulation and heat-resistance. And it can be used for the sealing material of all kinds of equipment.
It is required that the installation of bucket elevator needs good sealing. And asbestos tape is the most commom use material in sealing bucket elevator. It can not only prevent powder leakage, but also reduce the waste rate of material. The right installation position of asbestos tape is that it should be installed at the joint between two flanges.
