Why is Bucket Elevator Asbestos Tape so Important
We have received the feedback from our Australia customer recently. Learning that threebucket elevators had already installed and our customers knew less about how to install the asbestos tape, so here we will describe its installation methods.
Asbestos consists of fibre bundle which is made of long and thin fibres. Due to its highly fire-resistance, electric insulation and heat-resistance, asbestos tape can be widely used in sealing materials of various machines or other asbestos products.
Because of high requirements about installation quality of bucket elevators, we usually adopt asbestos tape as its common sealing material. Asbestos tape can not only prevent dust leakage and protect environment, but also reduce material waste. During the real installation, asbestos tape must be positioned in the connection of casing flanges. Before connecting flanges, please add the asbestos tape in the connections and then fix the bolts.
